Take the zingerone out of the freezer 5 minutes before cooking.
You can prepare the zingerone either by frying or baking. • Frying: Deep fry in pre-heated oil at 180˚C for nearly 6 minutes and then and set aside on a baking sheet. • Baking: Preheat the oven at 220oC. Place the zingerone in a pan, drizzle with oil, and let cook for 25-30 minutes while turning.
Slice the bread in half.
Add lettuce, zingerone, cheese slice, and top with the second half of the bread.
